When Jashana Anderson,10, right, of Lewiston, first started to go to the Root Cellar after school about 4 years ago, she gravitated to the sewing, knitting and fabric art program. Thursday afternoon, she was helping volunteer Sarah Minnich, left, of Durham, help Zahra Abo, center, 8, learn how to crochet.
